Assist in installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, panels, motors, lighting, and control systems.
Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance as per schedule.
Support senior electricians during fault finding and repairs.
Equipment & Safety
Ensure electrical systems comply with safety standards and company procedures.
Identify potential electrical hazards and report immediately.
Follow lockout-tagout (LOTO) and safety protocols strictly.
Troubleshooting
Help diagnose electrical faults in machines and utility systems.
Assist in testing electrical components using basic instruments.
Replace faulty components under supervision.
Documentation & Housekeeping
Maintain basic maintenance logs and work records.
Ensure tools, panels, and work areas are clean and organized.
Coordination
Coordinate with mechanical and production teams during maintenance work.
Follow instructions from senior staff and supervisors.
Skills & Competencies
Basic knowledge of industrial electrical systems.
Understanding of electrical safety norms.
Ability to read basic electrical drawings (preferred).
Willingness to learn and work in shifts if required.
Qualification & Experience
ITI / Diploma in Electrician or relevant trade.
Minimum 2 years of experience in plant / industrial environment
Exposure to manufacturing or heavy industry preferred.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work on shop floor and at heights when required.
Fit to handle tools and perform manual tasks safely.
