The Junior Dietician will assist in planning and implementing nutritional care for patients, ensuring their dietary needs are met as per medical conditions under the supervision of a senior dietician.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess patients' dietary requirements based on their medical conditions.
Assist in planning and preparing individualized diet charts.
Monitor patients' food intake and report deviations or issues.
Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff regarding patient diets.
Educate patients and their families about nutrition and dietary modifications.
Maintain documentation and dietary records of patients.
Ensure hygiene and quality standards in the food preparation area.
Qualifications:
B.Sc. in Food & Nutrition / Dietetics (M.Sc. preferred)
Registered Dietician (RD) certification is a plus
0-2 years of hospital experience preferred
Skills Required:
Good communication and counseling skills
Knowledge of clinical nutrition and therapeutic diets
Basic computer and documentation skills
Ability to work in a team and under supervision
