Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Civil Engineer (Finishing Works) to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be a B.E. Civil graduate from Mumbai University with a keen interest in finishing activities and interior execution. The role involves assisting in planning, supervising, and ensuring the quality of all finishing works at site.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and monitor finishing works including plastering, flooring, tiling, painting, false ceiling, carpentry, waterproofing, and other interior-related works.

Ensure finishing works are executed as per approved drawings, quality standards, and within deadlines.

Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for timely completion of finishing activities.

Check quality of materials and workmanship at every stage of finishing.

Assist in preparing work schedules, material requirements, and progress reports.

Conduct snagging and de-snagging for handover readiness.

Maintain proper documentation of site activities and finishing checklists.

Support senior engineers in resolving finishing-related technical/site issues.

Qualifications:

B.E. Civil Engineering from Mumbai University (Preferred).

2-4 years of relevant experience.

Knowledge of finishing materials, BOQ, quality checks, and site measurements.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project reporting tools.

Eye for detail with strong quality orientation.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and teamwork abilities.
