The Junior Site Accountant supports day-to-day accounting and financial activities at the project site. The role involves maintaining site accounts, processing bills, handling petty cash, and coordinating with the HO finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain daily site cash book and ledger entries
Handle petty cash and site-level expenses
Process vendor bills, subcontractor bills, and labor payments
Assist in preparation of monthly site accounts and cost reports
Maintain records of purchase invoices, GRNs, and payment vouchers
Track advances given to vendors, suppliers, and staff
Coordinate with stores and procurement teams for material entries
Support payroll processing for site staff and labor
Ensure proper documentation for audits and internal checks
Comply with company accounting policies and statutory requirements
Educational Qualification:
B.Com / M.Com or equivalent
Knowledge of basic accounting principles
Experience:
0-2 years of experience in site accounting (construction / infrastructure preferred)
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
