Maintain general ledger and perform regular reconciliations.
Record daily transactions including income, expenses, payments, and receipts.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and monthly MIS reports.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
2. Project Accounting (Real Estate Specific):
Track income and expenditure against projects (e.g., land acquisition, construction, and sales).
Allocate costs to specific real estate projects/phases.
Monitor project cash flows and budget utilization.
3. Compliance & Taxation:
Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
Coordinate with auditors and assist in statutory and internal audits.
Maintain proper documentation for compliance and regulatory requirements.
4. Billing & Receivables:
Prepare and issue invoices to clients/customers for property sales or rentals.
Follow up on payments and maintain records of collections.
Coordinate with the sales and legal teams on payment schedules and agreements.
5. Bank & Cash Management:
Handle bank reconciliations and monitor bank balances.
Manage petty cash and assist in fund transfers for project expenses.
6. Software & Tools:
Work with
ERP software
such as Tally.
