Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant, located in Bangalore. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Key day-to-day tasks include managing accounts payable/receivable, reconciling bank statements, preparing tax returns, and assisting in financial reporting. The Accountant will also support budgeting, forecasting, and audits, while providing insights to optimize financial performance.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance Proficiency in managing accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations Familiarity with preparing tax returns and ensuring regulatory compliance Experience with accounting software and tools (such as Tally or QuickBooks) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
