Role Overview:

We are looking for a Front-End Software Engineer specializing in jQuery to design, develop, and enhance dynamic, interactive web interfaces and user experiences. In this role, you will leverage strong expertise in DOM manipulation, event handling, and asynchronous scripting to create seamless and responsive front-end functionality. You will collaborate with designers, UI/UX specialists, and backend engineers to deliver scalable, maintainable, and user-centric web applications.

What does day-to-day look like:

Design, implement, and maintain interactive UI components using jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Utilize DOM traversal and manipulation techniques to dynamically update web content and improve user engagement.
Develop and integrate custom jQuery plugins or extend existing ones to enhance site interactivity and performance.
Handle event-driven programming to create responsive, fluid user interactions across browsers and devices.
Collaborate with backend engineers to consume and manage RESTful APIs and JSON data using AJAX.
Optimize front-end performance through code refactoring, lazy loading, and minimizing DOM reflows/repaints.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and responsiveness in all front-end implementations.
Perform code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain code quality and reliability.
Maintain clear documentation for scripts, reusable components, and front-end integration workflows.
Requirements:

1.5- 2 years of hands-on experience in front-end development with a strong focus on jQuery

Proficiency in DOM manipulation, event handling, and enhancing interactivity within front-end projects.
Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
Experience integrating AJAX, REST APIs, and asynchronous workflows
Familiarity with modern browser developer tools, debugging techniques, and performance profiling.
Working knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Exposure to modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) is a plus.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset within cross-functional teams.
