JOURNALIST / CONTENT WRITER - Education Sector

Location : Bangalore

Education Today is one of India's leading education magazines with a nationwide readership of over 12 lakh educators, principals, trustees, and parents. We cover inspiring stories, school features, education news, parenting, and EdTech insights. We are now looking for a passionate and detail-oriented

Journalist

to join our editorial team and contribute to our print and digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities:

Research, write, and edit

research-based articles

, blogs, and news features for our website and magazine. Conduct

interviews

with educators, industry leaders, and innovators in the education and EdTech sectors. Develop

engaging scripts

and narratives for

conferences, podcasts, and education events

. Ensure accuracy, originality, and consistency across all published content. Collaborate with the editorial and design teams to maintain the brand's voice and quality standards. Perform

editing and proofreading

to ensure high editorial quality. Stay updated with the latest trends in

education, media, and technology

to create relevant and timely content.
Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or English.

1-2 years of experience

in journalism, content writing, or media--preferably in a

media house or publication

. Excellent command over

English writing, grammar, and storytelling.

Strong

research and interviewing skills

with the ability to convert insights into compelling narratives. Familiarity with

SEO writing

and

digital publishing tools (WordPress, CMS, etc.)

. Proficiency in

editing, proofreading, and content structuring.

Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced editorial environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?30,000.00 per month
