Role Overview

We are looking for journalism interns who are curious, fearless, and passionate about storytelling. You'll be involved in news gathering, reporting, social journalism, interviews, research, and script writing for digital newsrooms.

You'll get hands-on experience with:

Reporting (field & digital) Camera presence, anchoring & byte-taking Digital news writing & editing Investigative and solution-based journalism

Key Responsibilities

Write news stories, digital scripts, and social headlines Support field reporting, interview coordination & newsroom operations Assist in production of explainer videos and special series Conduct news research, fact-checking & content verification Track real-time updates across beats: politics, entertainment, youth issues, etc. Contribute fresh ideas for stories, shows & social media formats Create bilingual content (Odia/English) where required

Who Can Apply

Pursuing Journalism, Mass Communication, or related media studies Strong news sense and eagerness to learn digital-first journalism Good command over English and/or Odia language (based on placement) Confident handling public interactions and camera presence Quick learner, ready for fieldwork and fast-paced reporting
