The Manager, Business Technology Leader (BTL) for Janssen India will report to the Technology Leader of the Janssen Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia & the Philippines (SMIP) Cluster.

This role is accountable for technology initiatives for Janssen India that maintain compliant operations as well as modernize the business capabilities to meet business needs. As a strategic partner to the Janssen India business community, the individual will influence future information and technology evolution. In addition to ensuring continuous improvement advances, the leader will build internal and external partnerships for technology evolution, accounting for potential technology changes arising with digital health, social platforms, convergence of therapy and device, data sciences, and automated practices in the healthcare ecosystem. This role will assume responsibility and direct accountability for ensuring the delivery of various programs within Janssen India.

The individual will have the following responsibilities & key accountabilities:

1. Business & Technology Strategy

Support vision, align/prioritize business & IT strategies and co-shape strategic demand with the business. Define annual objectives and outcomes informed by business and technology for selected areas / functions. Translate business vision/strategies and customer needs to product groups, empowering PGLs to innovate and create solutions to meet business / customer needs. Unite varied products into cohesive end-to-end digital business strategies and solutions for function/franchise/region. Co-drive continuous improvement and seek opportunities for business process improvement through technology, data, and automation with SMIP Tech lead\'s Support and consistent deployment strategy.

2. Internal & External Partnerships

Represent J&J in strategic technology discussions with key external and internal stakeholders. Foster an environment to increase digital acumen and drive data-driven culture for business partners and product teams across Therapeutic areas. Build strong partnerships and connections with technology providers, govt, advisory boards to shape policies & deliver innovative solutions .

3. Experimentation/Execution & Delivery

Leverage knowledge of customers and broader ecosystem to drive identification / implementation of emerging products based on customers\' evolving needs. Manage delivery of specialized/local applications at function/franchise/region that are not aligned to existing products/groups. Identify and promote opportunity to leverage cross enterprise platforms.

4. Investment, Financial & Value Management

Define and actively measure the value being created and delivered to customers / users / stakeholders (e.g., define, refine and measure OKRs on a regular cadence). Maintain a pulse on performance metrics to focus on business value realization and pull-through, including end user/customer KPIs, product group performance, technical performance (e.g., available / up time), product maturity and revenue/market growth. Co-create business cases with business partners, supporting socialization and/or funding request activities. Support SMIP Tech leader on selected initiatives and any planning cycles (e.g., BP, LRFP)

5. Leadership

Drive strategic technology and process harmonization opportunities at the Janssen India and franchise levels. Be a change agent, develop and execute change mgmt. plans. Drive talent and culture agenda. Serve product group leaders, enabling them to fulfill constantly changing external requirements in real time. Encourage diverse opinions and constructive conflicts from team members throughout the GOC to unleash full potential. Enable and drive product and user centric mindset, models and delivery creating value for our employees, partners, patients and HCPs- Bachelor\'s degree in information technology/ computer science/ engineering/ business administration or equivalent with at least 8-10 years of relevant experience.

- Experience and knowledge in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries; business theory, processes and process improvement methodologies, budgeting.

- A driver of improved business operations who utilizes robust project and service management to ensure timely delivery of projects that achieve expected benefits.

- Excellent ability to lead, influence, empower and encourage others in a collaborative environment, exceptional service orientation and strong negotiating skills.

- Solid understanding of agile methodology, core technical platforms and product lifecycle maintenance.

- Experience with working across multiple levels of business and IT partners.

- Knowledge of technology trends and to apply this knowledge to existing business processes.

- Self-driven and must be a good team player. Capable of being agile in an environment with changing priorities and influences others to do so.

- Ability to adopt to changes and to deliver IT solutions in a constantly evolving business/IT environment.

- Ability to work in an Agile environment and working closely with shared services organizations.

- Ability to manage complexity and ambiguity.

- Strong problem solving, analytical and design skills are required.

- Solid written, presentation and verbal communication skills.

- Strong knowledge of computer systems validation requirements, and all necessary compliance requirements for workflow, reporting, and information custody.
