Job Title: Senior Production Manager - Made-ups (Sheet Set, Duvet Set & Shams)

Location: Kahler-Bhiwandi Thane Maharashtra

Experience Required: Minimum 10-12 years in home textile / made-up industry (cut to pack

operations)

Standard 100, Egyptian Cotton, and GOTS standards. We follow Lean Manufacturing and 5S

practices to ensure efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Role Overview:

The Senior Production Manager will be responsible for end-to-end production operations --

from cutting, stitching, finishing, and packing to transfer of finished goods (FG) to the warehouse.

He/she will ensure all activities meet standards of quality, compliance, productivity, and delivery,

while maintaining a disciplined, safe, and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Management

? Oversee entire production process from cut to pack, ensuring timely delivery and consistent

quality.

? Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production plans in coordination with the

Planning and Merchandising teams.

? Optimize manpower, machinery, and material usage to achieve high productivity with

minimal downtime.

? Ensure FIFO system is followed across all production stages.

? Coordinate closely with QA, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams for smooth production

flow.

Quality, Compliance & Process Control

? Maintain all factory certifications and compliance (ITS, WCA, CT-PAT, OEKO-TEX, Egyptian

Cotton, GOTS).

? Ensure zero-defect production through inline checks and process discipline.

? Enforce Lean Manufacturing and 5S systems for efficiency and cleanliness.

? Implement effective wastage control measures at all stages -- fabric, trims, and packing

materials.

? Ensure reconciliation of fabric and accessories between cutting, stitching, finishing, and

dispatch to prevent losses.

? Conduct periodic audits to verify material consumption vs. output reconciliation.

Continuous Improvement

? Drive Kaizen and process improvement projects to enhance productivity and reduce cost.

? Review and refine production layouts and methods for better efficiency.

? Ensure all operations follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain accurate

documentation.

Team & Workforce Management

? Lead and mentor supervisors, line in-charges, and workers to achieve production targets.

? Maintain a clean, disciplined, and safe factory environment.

? Conduct training programs on process improvement, quality, and safety.

? Encourage a culture of accountability and teamwork.

Reporting & Documentation

? Prepare and submit daily production, wastage, and efficiency reports to management.

? Maintain detailed records of fabric consumption, wastage, and final reconciliation for audit

and costing purposes.

? Identify variances in consumption and initiate corrective actions promptly.

? Ensure all reports (MIS, defect analysis, rejection analysis) are accurate and timely.

Key Skills & Competencies:

? Strong knowledge of home textile / made-up manufacturing processes.

? Proven experience in cut-to-pack operations, wastage control, and reconciliation.

? Good understanding of lean manufacturing, 5S, and process optimization.

? Leadership, analytical thinking, and people management skills.

? Excellent communication and reporting ability.

? Working knowledge of ERP or production tracking systems.

Qualification:

? Graduate / Diploma in Textile Technology / Industrial Engineering / Production Management

or equivalent.

Factory Head / Director of Operations
