Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Job Placement Specialist located in Bengaluru. The role requires the specialist to work on crafting a job search strategy for our candidates, creating and implementing HR policies, and providing exceptional customer service both to the clients and candidates. The specialist will also be recruiting potential candidates and ensuring they match our clients\' requirements. Industry Networking: Build and maintain relationships with employers, companies, and industry partners to understand their hiring needs and create job opportunities for trainees. Career Counseling: Provide career guidance and counseling to trainees, assisting them in identifying their strengths, career aspirations, and job preferences. Placement Support: Assist trainees in resume building, interview preparation, and job application processes to enhance their employability. Job Matching: Match trainees\' skills and qualifications with available job openings, ensuring a good fit for both the individual and the employer. Placement Events: Organize job fairs, recruitment drives, and networking events to facilitate direct interactions between trainees and potential employers. Data Management: Maintain records of trainees, their skill sets, job preferences, and placement status for effective tracking and reporting. Follow-Up: Conduct follow-ups with placed candidates to ensure their job satisfaction and address any issues or concerns. Qualifications and Skills: Education: Bachelor\'s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field. A master\'s degree can be advantageous. Experience: Prior experience in placement activities, recruitment, or HR functions, preferably in the education or skill development sector. Networking Skills: Strong networking abilities to establish and maintain relationships with employers, industry professionals, and placement agencies. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with trainees, employers, and stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Ability to identify job opportunities, analyze trainees\' skills, and solve placement-related challenges effectively. Organization: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple placements and maintain accurate records. Empathy and Counseling: Understanding and empathy towards the aspirations and challenges of trainees, coupled with counseling skills to guide them effectively. Tech Proficiency: Familiarity with relevant software for data management and tracking. Location: Pune and Mumbai A Placement Officer at Saksham Skill Training Centers plays a pivotal role in facilitating the transition of trained individuals into the workforce, ensuring their skills are effectively utilized and contributing to their overall career development. Qualifications Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are mandatory for this role. Customer service skills to handle client and candidate interactions professionally. Expertise in creating and implementing HR policies as well as job search strategies for candidates. Experience in recruiting and qualifying potential candidates for our clients. Bachelor\'s degree in HR or any other related field is required. Knowledge of sourcing, selecting and interviewing techniques is a plus.
