Viswamitempowersolution is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Ticketing Agent in Ground Staff at our airport location in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. As a Ticketing Agent, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to passengers and assisting with ticketing and check-in procedures. Key Responsibilities: - Greet and assist passengers at the ticket counter and check-in area - Answer inquiries and provide information about flight schedules, fares, and policies - Process ticket sales and reservations using computer systems - Issue boarding passes and luggage tags - Check and verify passenger identification and travel documents - Handle changes and cancellations to flight itineraries - Assist passengers with special needs, such as disabilities or unaccompanied minors - Ensure compliance with all airport security and safety regulations - Collaborate with other airport staff to ensure smooth operations and timely departures - Provide exceptional customer service to resolve any issues or complaints - Maintain accurate records and reports of ticketing transactions - Stay updated on airline policies and procedures to provide accurate and up-to-date information to passengers - Adhere to company dress code and grooming standards at all times Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities - Proficient in using computer systems and software - Must be able to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays - Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time - Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal - Knowledge of a second language is a plus We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for career growth and development.
