Receive raw materials, chemicals, spares, and other items as per purchase orders.
Check material quantity and quality against delivery challans and inspection reports.
Coordinate with QA/QC for material approval and sampling.
Ensure proper storage of chemicals and materials according to MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) guidelines.
Maintain segregation of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
Label and tag materials correctly for easy identification.
Maintain accurate stock records in ERP or manual register.
Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile with system records.
Monitor minimum and reorder stock levels and inform Purchase Department for replenishment.
Issue materials to production and maintenance departments as per approved requisitions.
Ensure proper documentation for material movement (GRN, Issue Slip, Return Note, etc.).
Coordinate dispatch of finished goods with the logistics team.
Maintain all statutory records related to hazardous materials.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stock reports.
Ensure compliance with audit requirements and safety norms.
Follow all safety procedures while handling chemicals and equipment.
Ensure fire safety equipment and PPEs are used as per norms.
Support periodic safety audits and housekeeping in store area.
