Designation: Matron (Government hospital) Qualification: B.Sc. (OPD, Wards, ICU, OT, Day Care Units) Should have knowledge of NABH & NABL Process to be implement at practical level. Managing the duty roster and allocating the staff depending on the workload. Assisting the nursing superintendent to put forward nursing policies and protocols and monitoring its adherence by the staff. Finding out the problem areas and discussing them with the Nursing Superintendent to develop a practical solution. Recording the data required for evaluating the quality indicators and measuring the same. Accountable for the equipment\xe2\x80\x99s used in the nursing and clinical care areas. Monitoring the resource (linen, consumables, medicine, etc) allocation among different units. Encouraging the participation of nursing staff in the training activities. Providing on the job training as and when variances observed. To go on rounds to evaluate the effectiveness of nursing services. Officiates in the absence of CMO. Participates in the formulation of Nursing Services, philosophies, objectives and SOPs. Assists in the recruitment of Nursing Staff. Helps in allocating Nursing personnel to various Nursing Services Departments. Keeps records and reports of the Nursing Services. Assists in planning and organizing the new units in the hospital. Maintains confidential reports & reports of the Nursing Staff. Takes regular hospitals rounds. Supervises care given in various departments Member of several hospital committees, e.g., Infection Control Committee, Pharmacy & therapeutics. Interprets the policies & procedures of the hospital care to subordinate staff and others. Acts as a liaison officer between the CMO and the Nursing staff of the hospital. Assists in the supervision of Nurses\xe2\x80\x99 home, Nurses\xe2\x80\x99 hostel. Attends to emergency calls in rotation concerning hospital or hostel problems. Audit Code Blue (Actual & Mock drill). Review medication errors/adverse reaction/sentinel events. Review outcome measures in the hospital. Arranges and participates in professional and social functions of the staff and students. Maintains good public relations. Job Types: Full-time, Volunteer, Regular / Permanent Salary: 945,000.00 - 960,000.00 per month Benefits:
