Job Summary
The JM Logistics is responsible for coordinating all activities related to the movement of materials and supplies into the company and the movement of finished products to customers in a timely and cost-effective manner. In addition, monitor warehouse and distribution areas for efficiency in operations and capacity.
Roles & Responsibilities

  • Ensure effective and timely implementation of all Logistics daily operational goals inclusive of Shipping functions and Inventory Management.
  • Establish and manage relations with warehouses, ocean carriers, customs broker, drayage providers, sales force and customers.
  • Coordinate and ensure proper loading and unloading of all trucks
  • Ensure that Transfer Sheets and PO receipts are completed and verified
  • Analyze and log purchase orders commensurate to existing stock availability and reduce shipping cost.
  • Examines shipping costs and negotiates with carriers to reduce shipping expenses through carrier contracts
  • Determines space requirements and position of shipment in trucks and lays out position of shipment.
  • Manages the functions related to receiving incoming freight and packages, inspect rejects, record shortages and approves loads per ISO policies
  • Manages shipment processes, including receiving shipment pick list, locating, packaging requirements, labelling, material certifications, loading shipments per weight restrictions and customer specifications
  • Prepares shipping documents for domestic and international shipments
  • Ensure to process orders and on-time delivery by network of courier companies and warehouses.
  • Plan and arrange logistics required shipments.
  • Support simplification and standardization of processes to accelerate logistics and enhance efficiencies.
  • Assist audits of vendor invoices and month-end processing to incorporate finance accruals.
  • Chartering of ship and coordination between our factory supply and receiving chain.
  • Contribute with insights on freight market information, providing necessary support to Sales Team
  • Manage post-fixture follow up, in coordination with Operations Department.
  • Record keeping and data entry on fixtures concluded.
KPIs
  • Logistics support as per Order vs Dispatch requirement
  • Documentation of domestic & International Shipment
  • Monthly report of FG dispatch
  • Cost management of freight as per Budget
  • Completion of shipment as per Target
Work experience requirement
Good working knowledge with minimum 5-8 years in chartering activities, preferably in non-dairy products / food products shipment or any other commodity.
Qualification
Bachelors / Master Degree in operations management / business management / Logistics Management or any other relevant area.
