Backend/Technical

• Jira infrastructure:

• Design, implement and manage the Jira infrastructure, ensuring it meets high availability and scalability requirements.
• Architect and maintain the server, database, and networking components to support a robust Jira environment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs an align infrastructure solutions accordingly.
• Proactively troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues to maintain system reliability and security (like certificate compliance, patching, vulnerability, EVA vault issues etc).
• Jira upgrade:

• Plan and execute seamless Jira datacenter, JIRA database from Oracle to Postgres upgrades, considering customization, compatibility, and integration impacts.
• Develop upgrade strategies, conduct rigorous testing in UAT or non-production environments and oversee deployment processes.
• Coordinate cross functional teams to communicate upgrade plans, potential risks and consistency measures.
• Document upgrade procedures comprehensively and provide post upgrade support as necessary.
• Jira server configuration deployment:
• Utilize DevOps practices and GitLab CI/CD pipelines to automate Jira server configuration and deployment processes.
• Manage version control, maintain configuration files in GitLab repositories and troubleshoot deployment issues promptly.
• Jira performance handling:

• Health check monitor and analyze Jira\'s performance metrics, identifying opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
• Implement advanced performance optimization techniques such a cache optimization, query tuning and indexing.
• Optimize configurations, diagnose, and resolve performance related issues swiftly to maintain an excellent user experience.
