Job Description

A Senior Store Manager in a jewelry retail environment is responsible for leading the store's overall operations, driving sales, and ensuring exceptional customer service. They manage a team, maintain inventory, and oversee store presentation while also focusing on achieving financial targets and building customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:



Team Leadership and Development:

Supervising, motivating, and mentoring sales associates and support staff.

Conducting performance evaluations and providing coaching and training to enhance team performance.

Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Sales and Customer Service:

Driving sales growth through effective strategies and promotions.

Ensuring exceptional customer service standards are maintained.

Building and maintaining relationships with high-net-worth clients.

Inventory Management:

Maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring proper stock control.

Minimizing stockouts and overstock situations through effective inventory management practices.

Store Operations:

Overseeing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.

Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Managing the store budget and monitoring expenses.

Store Presentation and Visual Merchandising:

Maintaining an attractive and organized store layout.

Collaborating with visual merchandising teams to create compelling displays.

Ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and standards.

Sales Analysis and Reporting:

Analyzing sales data to identify trends and opportunities.

Preparing regular reports for management on sales performance and other key metrics.

Customer Relationship Management:

Building and maintaining relationships with high-net-worth clients.

Ensuring customer satisfaction and resolving complaints.

Other Responsibilities:

Identifying and addressing operational challenges.

Ensuring the safety and security of the store and its assets.

Skills and Qualifications:

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building customer relationships.

Knowledge of jewelry trends and the luxury retail market.

Proficiency in inventory management and visual merchandising.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience with CRM systems and data analysis is often desirable.

Fluency in English is often required.
