Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage the

entire jewelry production cycle

- Waxing, Casting, Filing, Setting, Polishing, Quality Check & Dispatch. Prepare

daily/weekly production plans

and ensure timely completion of orders. Allocate work to workers and staff and monitor

output, finishing quality and productivity

. Maintain

production MIS

, daily reports, order status tracking, and data entry in Excel. Ensure

quality standards

for metal purity, stone setting, finishing & weight accuracy. Monitor

raw material inventory

- gold, diamonds, CZ, findings, wax, etc. Coordinate with

Design, CAD, Sales & Dispatch

teams for smooth workflow. Control

wastage (gold/wax)

and implement process improvements. Handle

manpower management

- attendance, planning, training support. Identify production issues / delays and take corrective action immediately. Ensure safety, discipline, and clean working practices on the shop floor.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of jewelry manufacturing processes (18K/14K). Ability to manage multiple departments: Waxing, Casting, Filing, Setting, Polishing. Excellent

team coordination & leadership

skills. Good understanding of

quality control

and finishing standards. Proficiency in

Excel

, record-keeping & production tracking. Strong communication & problem-solving ability. Ability to work under deadlines and manage high-volume production.

Qualifications

Minimum

3-7 years experience

in jewellery production supervision/management. Experience in gold jewellery (18K/14K) is mandatory. Knowledge of CAD workflow preferred.
