The Jewellery Store Manager is responsible for managing daily store operations, ensuring high standards of customer service, supervising staff, achieving sales targets, and maintaining the overall brand image. The role demands strong product knowledge in jewellery, operational discipline, and the ability to deliver an exceptional luxury retail experience.
Key Responsibilities1. Store Operations Management
Oversee the efficient functioning of day-to-day store activities.
Ensure proper display, lighting, cleanliness, and security of jewellery counters.
Maintain compliance with company SOPs, billing standards, gold purity checks, and documentation norms.
2. Sales & Target Achievement
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for gold, diamond, and gemstone categories.
Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to improve conversion and average bill value.
Analyze sales reports and identify key growth opportunities.
3. Customer Experience & Service Excellence
Deliver a premium and personalized customer experience.
Handle customer inquiries, grievances, and ensure high satisfaction levels.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with high-value customers.
4. Team Management & Training
Recruit, supervise, and train sales associates and support staff.
Conduct daily briefings and skill-development sessions (product knowledge, sales techniques, grooming).
Ensure proper staff discipline, attendance, and shift management.
5. Inventory Management & Security
Conduct regular stock audits and ensure accurate reporting.
Manage gold, diamond, and high-value item handling, movement, and documentation.
Implement loss-prevention measures and oversee security protocols (CCTV, safe locking, weighing scales).
6. Compliance & Reporting
Maintain all statutory and regulatory compliance related to jewellery retail.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales, stock, and staff performance reports.
Ensure adherence to hallmarking, certification, and quality standards.
