Job Description

A Jewelry Sales & Marketing professional is responsible for driving sales, building customer relationships, and enhancing brand visibility within the jewelry industry. This involves a mix of sales, customer service, and marketing activities, including understanding customer needs, promoting products, handling transactions, and contributing to marketing strategies. Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Customer Service:

Greeting and assisting customers:

Providing expert advice on jewelry selection, demonstrating product knowledge, and guiding customers through the sales process.

Meeting sales targets:

Achieving individual and team sales goals by effectively promoting products and services.

Handling customer inquiries and complaints:

Addressing customer queries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience.

Processing sales transactions:

Accurately and efficiently handling cash and credit card payments, and managing sales records.

Building customer relationships:

Developing rapport with customers, understanding their preferences, and encouraging repeat business.

Marketing & Promotion:

Developing and implementing marketing strategies:

Creating and executing campaigns to promote jewelry products and increase brand awareness.

Conducting market research:

Analyzing customer trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to identify opportunities.

Managing online and offline promotions:

Utilizing various channels to reach target audiences and drive sales.

Collaborating with design teams:

Working with designers to create appealing campaigns and ensure product alignment with market trends.

Maintaining a strong online presence:

Utilizing social media and other digital platforms to engage with customers and promote products.

Other Responsibilities:

Maintaining product knowledge:

Staying up-to-date on the latest trends, materials, and designs.

Managing inventory and stock control:

Ensuring accurate records of products and maintaining visually appealing displays.

Preparing sales reports:

Tracking sales performance, analyzing data, and providing insights to management.

Participating in sales events and promotions:

Representing the company and engaging with potential customers at events and trade shows.
Skills and Qualifications:

Sales and Customer Service:

Strong sales skills, ability to build rapport with customers, and provide excellent service.

Product Knowledge:

In-depth understanding of jewelry materials, designs, and current trends.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

Excellent communication, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal skills.

Marketing and Promotion:

Understanding of marketing principles, ability to develop and implement campaigns, and experience with digital marketing.

Attention to Detail and Organization:

Ability to maintain accurate records, manage inventory, and ensure a well-presented showroom.

Problem-solving and Decision-making:

Ability to handle customer issues, resolve conflicts, and make sound decisions.
