The Jewellery Salesman is responsible for assisting customers in selecting and purchasing jewellery by providing product knowledge, excellent customer service, and maintaining showroom standards. The role includes handling sales transactions, maintaining stock accuracy, and building long-term customer relationships.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Customer Service:-
Greet customers and understand their jewellery requirements.
Showcase gold, diamond, silver, and CZ jewellery as per customer preference.
Explain product details such as
karat, weight, purity, making charges, and certifications
.
Upsell and cross-sell products to achieve sales targets.
Handle billing, exchange, buyback, and order bookings accurately.
Maintain strong relationships with repeat customers.
Product Knowledge:-
Stay updated on jewellery designs, trends, and pricing.
Understand gold rates, diamond grading (cut, clarity, color, carat), and gemstone basics.
Explain care instructions and warranty policies to customers.
Shop Maintenance:-
Maintain cleanliness and attractive display of jewellery.
Ensure proper tagging, labeling, and arrangement of stock.
Follow security procedures while handling high-value jewellery.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
Basic computer knowledge (POS, billing software).
Customer-focused and presentable personality.
Ability to handle pressure during peak hours.
