Job Summary

We are seeking a

Jewellery Quality Control Executive

to inspect gold jewellery, verify purity, check block items and final products, and ensure stone size/weight accuracy. This role ensures that every jewellery piece meets DAR Jewellery's premium quality standards before reaching customers.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect

block items

and verify size, weight, dimensions, and finishing. Check

final jewellery products

for purity, polish, craftsmanship, and overall quality. Operate and maintain

purity testing machines

(Karatmeter / XRF). Verify

stone size, weight, color, clarity

, and setting quality. Confirm product weight and dimensions using precision tools. Identify defects (scratches, solder marks, loose stones, weight mismatch etc.) and coordinate rework. Maintain QC reports, purity logs, daily inspection sheets, and records. Ensure compliance with internal SOPs and BIS quality standards.

Candidate Requirements (Job Specification)

Education:

Any degree Preferred: experience or Certification in Gemology, Jewellery Manufacturing, or QC

Experience:

1-3 years in jewellery QC

Technical Skills:

Ability to handle purity machines (Karatmeter / XRF) Knowledge of stone measurement and weight checking Understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes Familiarity with micro-weighing scales and precision tools

Soft Skills:

Good attention to detail Ability to identify defects quickly Basic computer skills (Excel) Good communication & teamwork abilities
