Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced

Retail Expert

with proven expertise in building and scaling large-format

Jewellery and Textiles retail businesses

similar to industry leaders like JoyAlukkas, Saravana Stores,

Kalyan Group

, and

Pothys

. The ideal candidate will drive

store setup, brand positioning, supply chain optimization, and customer engagement strategies

to establish a strong retail presence in key cities across India.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Strategy & Expansion:

Develop and execute strategies for launching jewellery and textile retail outlets in major cities across India.

Brand Building:

Create a premium yet customer-friendly brand identity to compete with leading retail giants.

Store Operations Management:

Design and implement operational processes for large-format showrooms, ensuring efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Vendor & Supply Chain Management:

Establish strong vendor relationships for jewellery, textiles, and accessories; ensure inventory management and cost optimization.

Sales & Revenue Growth:

Plan and achieve aggressive sales targets with high profitability.

Marketing & Promotions:

Conceptualize and execute marketing campaigns, seasonal promotions, and loyalty programs to attract and retain customers.

Team Leadership:

Recruit, train, and manage large teams including store managers, sales staff, and customer service executives.

Compliance & Security:

Ensure adherence to legal, safety, and security norms for handling high-value jewellery products.

Technology Integration:

Implement POS systems, CRM, and ERP tools to streamline operations and enhance customer experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience:

Minimum 8-12 years in large-scale retail (Jewellery, Textiles, or Luxury Retail) with leadership roles.

Industry Knowledge:

Strong understanding of

fashion trends, gold & diamond jewellery, textiles, and Indian retail market dynamics

.

Business Acumen:

Proven ability to drive

sales growth, profit margins, and operational excellence

.

Networking:

Strong relationships with suppliers, designers, and vendors.

Languages:

Proficiency in English and at least one major regional language (Tamil, Malayalam, or Hindi).

Education:

MBA or equivalent degree in Retail Management, Marketing, or Business preferred.

Preferred Background:

Previous experience in JoyAlukkas, Saravana Group

, Kalyan Jewellers, Pothys, or similar leading brands

. Experience in setting up

large retail chains or flagship stores

.
