We are looking for a Jewellery Designer who understands the art of fine detailing, cultural narratives, and modern luxury.

Key Responsibilities

Conceptualize and develop jewellery collections aligned with KIAAYO's design language and seasonal inspirations. Create detailed sketches, technical drawings, and 3D renderings for production. Explore and integrate Indian artisanal techniques such as hand-carving, meenakari, stone setting, oxidized finishes, and surface texturing. Select materials, stones, metals, and embellishments that reflect quality and durability. Collaborate closely with artisans, vendors, and in-house teams to ensure precise sampling and final execution. Research trends in contemporary, ethnic, and fusion jewellery to create innovative yet timeless designs. Maintain cohesive documentation of design processes, mood boards, and technical sheets. Oversee prototyping, quality checks, and final production approvals.
Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Jewellery Design, Accessory Design, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in jewellery design (ethnic, contemporary, handcrafted, or fusion styles preferred). A strong portfolio demonstrating original concepts, craftsmanship, and technical skill. Proficiency in design software such as Rhino, Matrix, CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop. Excellent understanding of materials, stones, metal properties, and jewellery construction techniques. Strong sense of detailing, form, color balance, and composition. Ability to work with karigars/artisans and guide sampling with clarity. Good communication skills, time management, and creative problem-solving abilities.
