Daily Responsibilities:
Design jewellery CADs with Rhino3d, JCD or Matrix. Matrix is preferred.
Needs to have knowledge and experience in designing all kinds of lightweight and heavyweight jewelry.
Regular design changes would be needed according to client requirement. Optimize designs for metal weight, stone fit, and production feasibility.
Will be responsible for creating cad files with sketches, drawing and verbal instructions.
Make sure all the CAD details are accurate and production ready for casting, stone cutting and finishing.
Would have to convert sketches/concepts into CAD files.
Ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective.
Skills and Competencies:
Proficiency in Rhino, JCD and Matrix
Minimum 2 years experience in CAD
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
Background in the Jewelry Industry Required.
Diploma / Certificate / Degree in Jewellery Design, CAD, or related field is a plus.
