Jewellery CAD Designer

Key Responsibilities:

Create high-quality

3D CAD models of jewellery designs

using software such as

Rhino, Matrix, JewelCAD, or 3Design

. Develop detailed CAD drawings for manufacturing, including

stone setting, weight calculation, and technical feasibility

. Collaborate with the design team to

convert hand sketches/concepts into accurate CAD models

. Work closely with production teams to ensure designs are

manufacturable and cost-effective

. Modify and revise existing CAD models based on feedback from designers or clients. Maintain a library of CAD designs and ensure timely delivery of projects. Stay updated with

new CAD tools, jewellery design trends, and manufacturing techniques

.

Skills & Competencies:

Proficiency in

Rhino, Matrix, JewelCAD, or other jewellery CAD software

. Strong knowledge of

gold, diamond, and gemstone jewellery manufacturing processes

. Attention to detail with a good sense of aesthetics, proportion, and finishing. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects. Good communication skills to collaborate with design and production teams.

Qualifications:

Diploma / Certificate / Degree in

Jewellery Design, CAD, or related field

. 1-4 years of relevant experience in

jewellery CAD designing

.

Preferred Background:

Experience in

fine jewellery / diamond jewellery / export house / manufacturing setup

. Understanding of

international jewellery trends and market requirements
