Job Description

The Jewellery CAD Designer is responsible for creating detailed and accurate 3D models of jewellery designs using CAD software. The role involves transforming design concepts or hand sketches into production-ready CAD files suitable for CAM and casting.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop 2D CAD models of gold, and other jewellery designs using software like Rhino, Matrix, or JewelCAD. Create designs as per client requirements, in-house concepts, or current market trends. Ensure precision in dimensions, stone placements, and technical feasibility for manufacturing. Coordinate with design, CAM, and production teams for smooth workflow and output quality. Revise or modify CAD files based on feedback or technical requirements. Maintain a proper database of all CAD designs and files. Stay updated with the latest jewellery design trends and CAD tools.

Requirements:

3+ years of experience as a CAD designer in the jewellery industry. Proficiency in jewellery-specific CAD software (e.g., Rhino, Matrix, JewelCAD). Strong understanding of jewellery components, measurements, and manufacturing processes. Attention to detail and ability to create intricate and production-friendly designs. Team player with good communication and coordination skills.
