Work closely with the product development team to create physical prototypes of jewellery designs.
Iterate on designs based on feedback, ensuring the final product aligns with the envisioned concept.
Conduct thorough reviews of prototypes and CAD models to ensure they meet quality standards, are manufacturable, and adhere to design specifications.
Stay abreast of industry trends, market preferences, and emerging styles in lab-grown diamond jewellery.
Use research findings to influence and enhance design concepts.
Participate in design review sessions and contribute to the overall design process.
Effectively communicate design concepts and rationale to internal teams, including marketing and product development, to ensure a shared vision.
Requirements:
Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Jewellery Design, Fine Arts, or related field from reputed institutions like National Institute of Design (NID), National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Srishti School of Design - Bangalore, Pearl Academy, Indian Institute of Gems & Jewellery (IIGJ) - Mumbai or any other branch, and SNDT - Juhu Mumbai and others.
Portfolio displaying extensive experience and a diverse range of design projects.
Proficiency in hand sketching, illustration, and CAD software for jewellery design (e.g.Matrix).
Proven experience as a Jewellery Designer, preferably in the context of lab-grown diamond jewellery, with a minimum of 3+ years of experience.
Understanding of materials, gemstones, and manufacturing processes in the jewellery industry.
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship in design execution.
Ability to balance creativity with practical considerations for mass production.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
