The

CAD Designer - Jewellery

will be responsible for developing high-quality 3D CAD models for fine jewellery. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of jewellery design principles, technical precision, and production requirements. You will collaborate closely with our design and manufacturing teams to create pieces that reflect Meenakshi Diamonds' signature style and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

Create detailed

2D and 3D CAD designs

for rings, earrings, pendants, bangles, and other jewellery items. Convert design concepts and hand sketches into accurate CAD models using

MatrixGold, Rhino, or similar software

. Ensure that all CAD designs are

technically sound, production-ready, and aligned with brand aesthetics

. Prepare CAD files suitable for

3D printing and manufacturing

. Work with designers and production teams to ensure

design feasibility, precision, and cost efficiency

. Modify or update existing designs based on feedback. Maintain a well-organized archive of all CAD files and documentation. Stay updated with

industry trends and new jewellery design techniques

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in

Jewellery Design, CAD Design, or a related field

.

1-3 years of experience

as a CAD Designer in the jewellery industry. Proficiency in

MatrixGold, Rhino, or JewelCAD

. Strong understanding of

casting, stone setting, and manufacturing processes

. Excellent attention to detail and creativity. Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects. Strong teamwork and communication skills.
