Job Title: Jewellery CAD Designer Job Overview: We are seeking a talented and creative Jewellery CAD Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Jewellery design and proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. The primary responsibility of the Jewellery CAD Designer is to create detailed digital models of Jewellery pieces based on design concepts and specifications. Responsibilities: CAD Design:

• Utilize CAD software to create precise and intricate digital models of Jewellery designs.
• Transform design concepts, sketches, or ideas into 3D CAD models with attention to detail and accuracy.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with the design team, gemologists, and other stakeholders to understand design requirements and specifications.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and integration of design elements into the production process.

Prototyping:

• Assist in the creation of physical prototypes or wax models based on the digital designs.
• Make necessary adjustments to CAD models based on feedback from prototype evaluations.

Technical Expertise:

• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and manufacturing techniques related to Jewellery design.
• Provide technical expertise on the feasibility and practicality of design concepts in terms of production processes.

Quality Assurance:

• Conduct thorough quality checks on CAD models to ensure accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
• Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies in the digital models before the production phase.

Documentation:

• Maintain detailed documentation of design specifications, changes, and iterations throughout the design process.
• Create and update technical drawings and documents as needed.

Communication:

• Effectively communicate design concepts and ideas through visual representations and presentations.
• Collaborate with other team members to incorporate feedback and refine designs as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Jewellery Design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Jewellery CAD Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as Rhino, Matrix, or other industry-standard design tools.
• Knowledge of Jewellery materials, gemstones, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to create intricate and precise digital models.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
