Key Responsibilities
Jedox Application Development
End-to-end responsibility for Jedox financial Planning: design, build, and maintain business rules, ETL processes, reports (incl. Canvas) and workflows.
Develop robust planning, budgeting, and forecasting models tailored to complex financial structures and hierarchies.
Continuously improve the Jedox solution landscape with a holistic system understanding.
Data Integration & Modeling
Integrate TM1/Cognos, Snowflake, and other enterprise data sources into Jedox to enable unified and consolidated planning views.
Develop and optimize multidimensional models and relational mappings to support dynamic planning scenarios and real-time data access.
Automation & Performance Optimization
Enhance planning workflows through scripting and modeling techniques, improving performance, usability, and scalability.
Implement automation for data refreshes, scenario simulations, and approval workflows.
AI/ML Forecasting Enablement
Prepare Jedox datasets for AI/ML-based forecasting, including feature engineering and historical data structuring for predictive modeling.
Collaborate with data science teams to support scenario analysis, variance detection, and predictive planning use cases.
Documentation & Governance
Maintain comprehensive documentation of templates, scripts, and workflows in GitLab, ensuring transparency, version control, and reusability.
Contribute to data governance initiatives by ensuring consistency, traceability, and compliance in planning data models.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Informatics, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Jedox in enterprise environments, ideally within financial planning and performance management contexts.
Technical Skills
Expertise in Jedox application development, including modeling, scripting, and workflow automation (minimum 2 years experience).
Experience integrating TM1/Cognos and relational data sources into Jedox (minimum 2 years experience).
Proficiency in Python scripting and Snowflake connectivity for data preparation and transformation.
Familiarity with GitLab for version control and collaborative documentation.
Domain Knowledge & Soft Skills
Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Excellent communication skills in English
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with a solution-oriented and agile mindset.
