Job Description

We are seeking a skilled JCB Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of JCB machinery--including backhoe loaders, excavators, and telehandlers--to support construction, excavation, and material-handling activities. The role requires strict adherence to safety protocols, regular equipment maintenance, and effective coordination with the site team to ensure smooth and timely project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate JCB machines (backhoe loader/excavator/telehandler) safely and efficiently. Perform excavation, loading, lifting, leveling, and material handling tasks as required. Inspect the machine daily and report any faults, damages, or maintenance needs. Follow site safety rules, traffic movement guidelines, and company procedures. Assist with ground tasks if needed and coordinate with the site supervisor/engineer. Ensure proper handling and care of equipment at all times. Maintain records of machine usage, fuel consumption, and daily activities. Respond promptly to directions from supervisors and contribute to timely project completion.

Requirements:

Valid JCB/Heavy Equipment Operator License or Certification. Proven experience operating JCB machinery (minimum 3 years preferred). Strong understanding of safety protocols and site regulations. Ability to read and follow instructions, work plans, and signals from ground staff. Good physical stamina and willingness to work in challenging outdoor conditions. Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting is an advantage.
