Job Title: JCB Operator

Job Summary

The JCB Operator is responsible for operating heavy equipment such as JCB backhoe loaders safely and efficiently for excavation, loading, lifting, and material handling activities. The role requires adherence to safety standards, proper equipment handling, and coordination with site supervisors and team members.

Key Responsibilities

Operate JCB/backhoe loader for excavation, trenching, leveling, loading, and site clearing Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks Ensure safe operation of machinery as per company and statutory safety norms Follow instructions from site engineers/supervisors accurately Load and unload materials such as soil, sand, gravel, debris, etc. Maintain proper records of machine usage, fuel consumption, and minor repairs Identify and report mechanical issues immediately Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of equipment Assist in other site activities when required
Safety Responsibilities

Follow all safety guidelines and PPE requirements Ensure safe movement of machinery on-site and public roads Avoid operating machinery under the influence of alcohol or drugs Prevent damage to underground utilities, structures, and surrounding property
Required Skills & Qualifications

Valid JCB/heavy equipment operator license (as per local regulations)

Minimum

2-5 years

of experience operating JCB or similar equipment Good understanding of machine controls and safety procedures Ability to work long hours and in outdoor/site conditions Basic knowledge of machine maintenance Physically fit and alert during operations
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in construction, roadwork, mining, or infrastructure projects Ability to read basic site drawings or instructions Knowledge of local traffic and safety laws
Reporting To

Site Supervisor / Site Engineer / Project Manager
Work Environment

Construction sites, outdoor locations, uneven terrain Exposure to dust, noise, and weather condition
Work Location - Dighi / Moshi / Wakad

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
