Job Title: IT Support Engineer
Location: Pune / Chennai / Coimbatore / Bengaluru
Job Summary: We are looking for a proficient IT Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with ServiceNow, Change Management, ITIL management, and monitoring tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace. Basic knowledge of Unix commands and Java Springboot, particularly with RESTful APIs, is a plus. The candidate should be able to work independently and communicate effectively with both customers and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
ServiceNow Management: Handle incident, problem, and change management processes using ServiceNow.
Change Management: Implement and manage change control processes to ensure minimal disruption to IT services
ITIL Management: Apply ITIL best practices to manage IT services and improve service delivery
Monitoring Tools: Utilize Splunk and Dynatrace for monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing system performance
Unix Commands: Perform basic Unix command operations for system administration and troubleshooting
Java Springboot Knowledge (Good to Have): Basic understanding of Java Springboot and RESTful APIs to assist in application support and troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
Proven experience with ServiceNow in an IT support role.
Strong understanding of Change Management and ITIL processes.
Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace.
Basic proficiency in Unix commands.
Knowledge of Java Springboot and RESTful APIs is a plus
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
Ability to provide 24/7 on-call support when required.
Preferred Skills:
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to mentor and train junior support engineers.
Experience in a customer-facing role, with the ability to handle technical issues professionally and efficiently. '
