jBASE (Database skill) experience candidate to support and maintain database-driven applications for a US-based customer. This role is primarily a database skill position with 4+years of experience, involving data modeling, database management, performance tuning, and production support, along with jBASE BASIC programming as required.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop, maintain, and support applications using jBASE / MultiValue (PICK) database
Design and manage database schemas, files, and data structures
Perform data extraction, transformation, and reporting as required by business teams
Monitor database performance and carry out performance tuning and optimization
Handle production support, issue analysis, and root-cause resolution
Work on data migration, upgrades, and legacy system modernization projects
Collaborate with onsite/US stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Ensure adherence to data security, backup, and recovery procedures
Create and maintain technical documentation
Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
