About our Team
Our Cloud Foundations team are building an Infrastructure Platform that will be used by teams across our global organization. The Cloud Foundations squad is a highly collaborative environment that is responsible for building, maintaining, and supporting the Platform Services. The Infrastructure Platform is a foundation of self-service APIs, tools, services, and knowledge that supports our integral internal product.
About the Role
As a React Software Engineer, you will build an Internal Developer Portal on top of Spotify's Backstage. You will work closely with our cross-functional platform squads to design and implement new features for our portal. This is an exciting open-source project.
Responsibilities

• Collaborating with business stakeholders to identify requirements and gather feedback in a fast moving environment
• Assisting with the design, development and deployment of a Internal Developer Portal in a cloud-hosted distributed system
• Designing and implementing new features for our portal and contribute them back upstream to this exciting open-source project
• Guiding the team on implementation best practices

Requirements

• Experience working with ReactJS Frameworks
• Experience working with large applications in Typescript
• Experience or knowledge working with Back-End Technologies
