The Cloud Management Business Unit is the industry leader in the management of virtualized infrastructure with its flagship vRealize suite of products and services. We, in the vRealize Cloud Subscription Manager/vRealize Suite LifeCycle Manager teams play a very pivotal role in enabling the SaaS journey of customers. From providing a single pane management to all vRealize to enabling a single touch onboarding to the vRealize cloud services, we handle it all. In the vRealize Cloud Subscription Manager/vRealize Suite LifeCycle Manager team, you will work on the top of line technology stack with a very high degree of freedom to explore, innovate and challenge the status quo. Success in the role: What are the performance goals over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing Success in the role is defined in the ability to deliver thrilling features for customers with top-notch quality Work with other engineers and architects to understand the high-level architecture, design and deliver features independently with razor focus on customer experience, quality, and robustness Collaborate with a wide variety of cross functional teams - Engineering, Global Support, Customer Success, Information eXperience, Product Management - to define and deliver the next gen experience for customers Ensure happy customers with great customer interactions and quick resolution Collaborate with the team in generating innovative ideas, research and propose new technologies Have fun! What does work look like: A typical work week is an excellent mix of new functionality development and working on innovation (Proof of Concept) You will be developing a Dev-owns-quality mindset and ensure the products and services are delivered with industry-leader quality You will also interact with customers and field teams whenever required There are a variety of innovation and Bootcamp events that you would be engaged in You will build a thorough understanding of the domain, customer use cases What does leadership look like: Dinesh Surajmal is a Director of Engineering, leading vRSLCM and Subscription Manager(vRCSM). He has been with VMware/CMBU since 9+ years and has an overall industry experience of 21+ years. At VMware, he has worked on several products like ADP, vRA, vRO, vRSLCM, vRCSM. His experience is quite varied and has served in Engineering Leadership positions across Domains - B2B, B2C, Web-scale, Cloud, Banking and Enterprise software. Dinesh has experience in building high performing teams from scratch and is passionate about People (Diversity & Inclusion), Innovation, Execution, Consumer Analytics, Customer Experience (CX, UX). His management philosophy is to build happy teams with a culture of passion & innovation being the main ingredient. He is always there to coach, mentor & support you in all dimensions of work. He is there to ensure the team is working on the appropriate business priorities effectively and having fun in the process. Dinesh has been mentoring several engineers & managers on the job and as part of mentorship programs. Where is this role located Flexible: The location of this role is flexible within India .. Work will be done from Bangalore office some days during a week and other days from a non-VMware building.
