Role description

We are looking for a technically strong Project Manager with hands-on understanding of Java-based systems, AWS cloud services, and modern software delivery practices. You will be responsible for managing end-to-end delivery of complex software projects, working closely with solution architects, engineers, and product stakeholders. The ideal candidate combines technical fluency, agile leadership, and data-driven decision-making to ensure successful, high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage cross-functional Scrum teams to deliver software projects on time and within scope

Collaborate with solution architects and tech leads to understand technical designs, system dependencies, and integration points

Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication around project status, risks, and deliverables

Drive sprint ceremonies including planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives

Identify and mitigate risks, manage issues, and proactively remove delivery roadblocks

Use data to track and report project health, team velocity, and delivery metrics

Manage dependencies across multiple teams, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines

Ensure clear documentation of requirements, design decisions, and progress updates

Oversee deployment readiness, change management, and post-release reviews

Required Skills & Qualifications

6+ years of experience in project or program management within a technology organization

Strong technical background or understanding of Java-based application architecture and AWS cloud services

Ability to read and understand solution design documents, sequence diagrams, and technical specs

Proven experience leading Agile / Scrum teams in a delivery-focused environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and business audiences

Strong command over Agile metrics (burn-down charts, velocity, throughput) and delivery dashboards

Experience with project management and collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, GitHub, or equivalent

Highly data-driven and capable of analyzing delivery trends, identifying patterns, and proposing improvements

Ability to multitask and manage priorities across parallel initiatives
