Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled

Java Spring Boot Developer

with strong experience in

DevOps practices

and hands-on expertise in

Microsoft Azure

. This role is responsible for building scalable backend services, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and managing cloud-based deployments on Azure.

Key Responsibilities Java Backend Development

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure backend applications using

Java (8+) and Spring Boot

. Build and expose RESTful APIs, implement microservices, and integrate with third-party APIs. Use Spring components like Spring Data JPA, Spring Security, and Spring Cloud for modular, efficient service development.

DevOps & Azure Responsibilities

Design and maintain

CI/CD pipelines

using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins. Deploy, manage, and monitor applications on

Microsoft Azure

using services like: Azure App Services Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Azure Functions Azure DevOps Pipelines Azure Monitor & Application Insights Write

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform. Automate build, deployment, and testing processes across development environments. Ensure secure coding and DevSecOps practices are followed in cloud deployments.

Required Skills

3+ years of hands-on experience with

Java

and

Spring Boot

. Strong understanding of

microservices architecture

and

REST APIs

. Proven experience with

Microsoft Azure

cloud services (App Services, AKS, Storage, etc.). Experience building and managing

CI/CD pipelines

in

Azure DevOps

or similar. Proficient in

Docker

, containerization, and

Kubernetes

(especially Azure Kubernetes Service). Familiarity with

SQL/NoSQL databases

like PostgreSQL, MySQL, Cosmos DB. Working knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python). Strong Git experience and familiarity with branching strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Azure certifications (e.g.,

AZ-204

,

AZ-400

, or

AZ-104

) are a plus. Experience with

monitoring and alerting tools

: Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Grafana. Understanding of

Agile/Scrum

methodologies and DevSecOps best practices.
