Responsibilities

Lead the

modernization strategy

for legacy applications, transforming monolithic architectures into

microservices-based, cloud-native solutions

. Define

end-to-end architecture

for modernized systems, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to

assess existing codebases

and design modernization roadmaps. Architect solutions to

migrate applications to Platform or other target platforms

, leveraging containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). Establish

technology standards, best practices, and performance benchmarks

for modernization projects. Drive

High-Level Design (HLD)

and

Low-Level Design (LLD)

for refactored systems and integration layers. Integrate

AI-driven workflows

and automation into modernized architecture where applicable. Ensure compliance with

security, regulatory, and operational requirements

during migration. Advocate for

DevOps practices

, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing for modernized applications. Mentor development teams on

modern architecture principles

, microservices design, and cloud deployment strategies.

Required Skills

12-15 years of experience

in solution architecture and application modernization. Strong expertise in

microservices architecture

,

API design

(REST/GraphQL), and

event-driven systems

. Hands-on experience with

containerization (Docker)

and

orchestration (Kubernetes)

. Proficiency in

cloud platforms

(AWS, Azure, GCP) and

hybrid deployments

. Solid understanding of

legacy system analysis

, refactoring strategies, and

migration planning

. Experience with

front-end frameworks

(Angular/React) and

backend technologies

(Node.js, Java, .NET). Familiarity with

AI integration

,

Agentic AI frameworks

, and

automation tools

. Knowledge of

CI/CD pipelines

,

DevOps practices

, and

infrastructure as code

(Terraform, Ansible). Excellent

communication, leadership, and stakeholder management

skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications:

AWS/Azure/GCP Solution Architect

,

Kubernetes Administrator

,

TOGAF

, or

AI/ML certifications

. Experience in

industrial or IoT platforms

.
