The Opportunity: Six Month work term: Jan,2024 - June,2023 How You Will Contribute: You will actively engage in product and feature development as a valued member of a collaborative team. Your responsibilities will encompass designing, developing, and providing support for software that specializes in various NMS/EMS layers, serving network elements across multiple technologies such as DWDM, Optical Switches, and Multi-Service edge products. Execute coding tasks in accordance with the established design within project timelines, ensuring alignment with organization-wide conventions and procedures (including architecture and code review). Deliver high-quality work to testing teams. Contribute insights to the detailed design phase. Create and execute unit test cases. The flexibility to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a broader team. The Must Haves: Possesses robust abilities in analysis, coding, testing, and documentation. Proficient in Object-Oriented Concepts, data structures, and algorithms. Familiarity with Operating System concepts. Understanding of Networking Concepts. Proficient in hands-on programming with one or more of the following languages: C/C++ Java/JavaScript Python JavaScript/HTML/CSS/jQuery Assets: Familiarity with micro-service architecture, Docker, and Git configuration management is an asset. .Experience in a Linux/Unix environment is an extra benefit. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivated and dedicated to meeting deadlines independently. Thrives in a collaborative team environment. Education Undergoing MCA or M. Tech. in Electronics and Communication or Computer Science or IT or similar.
