Serves as a highly specialized Technology/ product expert; Initiates and performs complex programming tasks (proof of concept &product implementation) and defines technical components; Provides design and implementation guidance to developers and specialists in the development team. Has a wide view and understanding of an entire product (not only modules), contributing to the high-level design and dictating technical standards, tools, and platforms. What will your job look like Engineering - Designs, develops, modifies and integrate complex software code; Ensures code is maintainable, scalable and supportable; Uses high level, extensive knowledge & expertise of the product/solution and technologies to lead the direction and development of the product/solution; Performs code review and provides feedback and suggested solutions including operability perspective, identifying areas of automation etc. Technical Expertise - Strong DB knowledge, Serve as a highly specialized technology/ product expert, acting with high autonomy to deliver agreed technical objectives. Professional Leadership - Reviews technical designs, and provides guidance to software engineers for the E2E software development. Analysis - Analyze and provide inputs for the requirements and provide impact assessment for new features Innovation & Continuous Improvement - Promotes continuous improvements/efficiencies to the software or business processes by utilizing Software Design - Works with software engineers and other architects to define and refine the product structure All you need is... Critical Experiences Extensive background in software engineering and proven experience in software design. Experienced in building complex applications or products considering various technical considerations. Demonstrated deep technical domain expertise. Experience in presenting ideas, influencing, and build consensus in a group setting. Technical Expertise Proven ability to understand & design big application systems Strong DB knowledge - Oracle, PostgreSQL (advantage) Java Development - Design Patterns, Spring Boot/Quarkus, Distributed Cache, familiarity with modern Java features (Java 8+) Python (optional) Native cloud - K8S, Helm, Docker, etc. Big Data: Impala (Cloudera) - advantage Kafka - advantage Agile development methodology SSO/user management: LDAP, Oath2 CI/CD flows DevOps - Jenkins, Git, Maven, Nexus Why You Will Love This Job Be challenged by crafting the high-level design and dictates technical standards.
