Job Profile



Role Summary
Java Technical Developer position for a Tier 1 investment bank supporting HR Talent And Core Group in Human Resources Technology. The team is looking for a highly motivated Java Technical Developer responsible for owning and building robust, highly scalable, time sensitive java web applications and providing strategic technical and business solutions to Talent And Core Group.

The role requires someone who is flexible and able to respond to a dynamic, demanding, and complex business environment. The candidate must be adaptable to work across multiple technologies and disciplines, with a focus on delivering quality solutions for the business in a timely fashion and be able to prioritize work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision

The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of experience in developing web applications. The candidate must have hands-on development. The candidate should be good at problem solving and should be capable of taking ownership of end-to-end delivery involving analysis, design, development, testing and maintenance of medium to large scale applications. The candidate should possess Strong analytical, problem Solving, Technical and communication skills.








QUALIFICATIONS


Skill Set



Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience developing web applications in Java. Technology: Java, DB, XML, UNIX Excellent working knowledge of Java, Spring, ORM, RDBMS (DB2), Restful Web services. RDBMS Sybase and/or DB2 is preferable, with a proficiency in writing complex SQL queries Experience in Agile development practices. Object Oriented Design and Development Exposure to working in a global delivery team.
  Strong ownership mentality with the focus on production stability and customer satisfaction

Qualifications/Criterion

• Master’s Degree or Bachelor's Degree with equivalent combination of professional training and experience.
