Job Description

CGI is looking for a strong Java/Linux support resource with the following skillset. Person with the required skill needs to support during the US 1st and 2nd shift hours on rotational basis.



US 1st shift - 08:00 AM EST - 05:00 PM EST (6.30 PM to 3.30 AM IST)

US 2nd shift - 02:00 PM EST - 11:00 PM EST (12.30 AM to 9.30 AM IST)



Essential skills:



. Development / Production support experience in Java and Linux with good knowledge on Oracle database

. Must be aware about Incident management and change management process.

. Good knowledge of Unix and SQLs is required.

. Experience with CA7 and Dynatrace.

. Prepares requirement definition, design, technical specifications.

. Provides coding, testing and implementation support for identified technical platform (i.e., Mainframe, Mid-range, Distributed or Web).

. Analyzes user requirements and defines technical project scope and assumptions for assigned tasks.

. Creates business and/or technical designs for new systems, and/or modifications to existing systems
