Job Summary

We are looking for a Java Production Support Engineer with strong analytical, troubleshooting, and technical skills to maintain the stability and performance of enterprise applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents, optimize systems, and ensure smooth production operations across complex environments.

Key Responsibilities

------------------------

Provide L2/L3 production support for Java-based applications. Monitor system and application health using AppDynamics, Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana. Perform root cause analysis and ensure timely resolution of incidents. Participate in release and change review meetings, contributing to platform stability. Develop automation scripts and tools to enhance reliability and reduce manual effort. Work with development and infrastructure teams to implement performance improvements. Support CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments using Kubernetes and Docker. Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for incident resolutions and procedures.

Required Qualifications

IT Operations: Strong experience in system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. SRE Experience: 4+ years in Site Reliability Engineering or production support. Development: Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, SQL, Spring Boot, and Microservices. Observability Tools: Hands-on experience with AppDynamics, Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana. Cloud Platforms: Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP. Containerization: Skilled in Kubernetes and Docker environments. CI/CD: Familiarity with Jenkins, Git, and automated deployment pipelines. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Preferred Skills

Experience with Java performance tuning and JVM optimization. Knowledge of message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ). Familiarity with shell scripting or Python automation for operational tasks. Understanding of ITIL processes and incident/change management best practices. Experience with data governance tools or Informatica Cloud (IICS). Background in healthcare, pharma, or retail industry environments.
