Description
We are seeking an experienced Functional Safety (FuSa) Engineer with a strong understanding of functional safety standards, particularly ISO 26262. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with hazard analysis, risk assessment, safety concept development, and validation in the automotive industry. This role involves designing safety architectures, defining safety requirements, conducting safety analysis, and ensuring that safety is integrated throughout the system development lifecycle.
Requirements

• Certification in Functional Safety (e.g., Txc3x9cV Sxc3x9cD Functional Safety Engineer, Functional Safety Manager).
• Experience in the automotive industry, particularly with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) or other safety-critical automotive systems.
• Familiarity with programming languages, simulation tools, and safety analysis tools.
• Knowledge of other safety standards and frameworks such as IEC 61508, ISO 13849, and automotive standards.

Job responsibilities

• Strong understanding of functional safety standards, especially ISO 26262, and their application in automotive systems.
• Experience in conducting hazard analysis (HAZOP, FMEA), risk assessments, and developing safety concepts for automotive applications.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and components, particularly within safety-critical environments.
• Ability to design safety architectures and implement appropriate safety mechanisms (e.g., redundancy, fault tolerance).
• Experience in safety validation and verification techniques, including conducting tests and simulations.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with a strong focus on delivering safety solutions.
