We are looking for a Java Developer to join our Software Engineering department, focusing on the Zema Global Enterprise Platform development and maintenance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both application development (50%) and support (50%), ensuring robust software solutions that meet business needs in collaboration with different departments and stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
Investigate and resolve application issues, apply bug fixes, and manage patch releases.
Introduce and follow good development practices, innovative frameworks, and technology solutions that help businesses move faster.
Candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting web applications and APIs, ensuring seamless operation, and providing technical assistance to users.
Follow best practices like estimation, planning, reporting, and improvement brought to processes in everyday work.
It is automating things wherever it is applicable.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Strong technical expertise in Java, JavaScript, SQL, and REST services.
Hands-on experience with software development lifecycles, version control system
Bonus Skills: Experience with DevOps skillset (Linux administration, Kubernetes (K8s), AWS or CI/CD Pipeline) is a plus.
Experience Level: 2+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
Education: Bachelor's degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive mindset.
