Your role

We're looking for Engineering Chapter Lead who

• act as people and development manager to Software Engineers, be a mentor supporting growth and career progression and ensure high standards of Securities Engineering is applied across the delivery crews
• support and enable the chapter with new / emerging practices, learning opportunities and capability building
• connect chapters to the wider UBS community of guilds, engage as thought and action leader beyond the borders of the crew
• work with Crew Leads and Agile coaches to understand and resolve challenges, opportunities, and areas of collaboration
• support the broader strategy and goals of their organization to ensure chapter members are equipped to understand in their context
• drive best practices in software development and DevOps with focus on migrating apps to cloud

Your team
You'll be working in the Group Sustainabilty and Impact in GOTO Group Functions Technology with the aim to build and maintain solutions for Sustainability and Social impact applications. Your expertise

• hands on and a self-starter who is highly experienced in Java backend, Azure cloud CI/CD and Devops Technologies with 12+years of experience
• demonstrated ability and experience in building / migrating apps on to Azure cloud
• proven experience in software development and lifecycles
• interested in learning new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind
• able to provide tech guidance on architecture, software design and development
• experience in resource and vendor management and managing a team of up to 10 people
• strong servant leader who can garner respect from individuals, puts their needs first, and with a strong attitude of transparency
