We are looking for a skilled Java + GCP Developer with strong hands-on experience in Java (11/17), Spring ecosystem, and cloud-native application development. The ideal candidate will work on building, maintaining, and supporting scalable enterprise solutions, with a focus on production stability, incident resolution, and cloud deployments.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
Handle incident resolution and provide production support ensuring system stability and performance.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
Deploy and operate applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) (or Azure, as applicable).
Work with Kafka, Pub/Sub, and Kubernetes for message streaming and container orchestration.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with Agile methodologies and sprint goals.
Mentor junior developers and support code reviews, design discussions, and process improvements.
Ensure adherence to best practices in code quality, security, and performance optimization.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience with Java 11/17 and Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, etc.).
Hands-on experience with incident management and production support in distributed environments.
Strong working knowledge of GCP or Azure cloud services and deployment models.
Experience with Kafka or Pub/Sub, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
Experience with Agile development tools and practices (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and mentoring skills.
Good to Have:
Experience with Terraform, Helm, or other infrastructure automation tools.
Understanding of REST API design and microservices architecture.
Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Stackdriver, Prometheus, ELK).
